Da Nang logs 705 new COVID-19 cases, 2,266 recoveries on Feb.17
On Thursday, 2,266 COVID-19 patients in Da Nang were given the all-clear from this highly contagious disease, of whom 2,157 were treated at home and the remaining 109 ones recovered at healthcare facilities.
A total of 109 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19 on Thursday, including the Da Nang Lung Hospital with 15 recoveries, the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 18, the Field Hospital with 72 and the Da Nang General Hospital with 4.
Currently, a total of 1,108 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 244 are severely ill.
On the day, a total of 2,157 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.
At present, 17,400 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 10,284 are asymptomatic and 7,184 are mild.
Up to now, 46,793 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 28,765 of them have recovered.
Till date, 2,311,852 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 982,177 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 967,376 have got two and 362,299 have accessed three.
On Thursday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 705 COVID-19 cases, of which 578 were acquired in the community.
