Da Nang logs 743 recoveries from COVID-19 on Feb.12
On Saturday, 743 COVID-19 patients in Da Nang were given the all-clear from this highly contagious disease, of whom 687 were treated at home and the remaining 56 ones recovered at healthcare facilities.
On the day’s count, 56 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19, including the Da Nang Lung Hospital and the Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 17 cases of discharge each, the Field Hospital with 20 and the C Hospital with 2.
Currently, a total of 936 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at the aforementioned medical facilities, of whom 207 are severely ill.
Also on Saturday, the home-based treatment and isolation of 687 patients came to an end, namely Hai Chau with 167, Thanh Khe with 166, Son Tra with 188, Ngu Hanh Son with 7 and Cam Le with 173.
For the time being, 13,666 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 10,220 are asymptomatic and 3,436 are mild.
Up to now, 34,706 cases have been received home-based isolation and treatment, and 20,554 of them have recovered.
Till date, 2,244,843 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 981,480 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 965,931 have got two and 297,432 have accessed three.
On Saturday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 940 COVID-19 cases, of which 803 were found in the community and the 137 remaining ones logged during home-based quarantine.
