Da Nang records 948 recoveries from COVID-19 on Feb.11
On Friday, February 11, 948 COVID-19 patients in Da Nang were given the all-clear from this highly contagious disease, of whom 891 were treated at home and the remaining 57 ones in healthcare facilities.
On the day, 57 patients were discharged from medical facilities following their recovery from COVID-19, including Da Nang Lung Hospital with 7 cases of discharge, Hoa Vang Medical Centre with 16, the Field Hospital with 33 and the C Hospital with 1.
Currently, these medical facilities are treating a total of 828 patients infected with the coronavirus, of which 175 are severely ill.
Also on Friday, the home-based treatment and isolation of 891 patients came to an end, namely Hai Chau with 96, Thanh Khe with 176, Son Tra with 219, Ngu Hanh Son with 131, Lien Chieu with 108, Cam Le with 120 and Hoa Vang with 41.
For the time being, 12,805 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 9,763 are asymptomatic and 3,042 are mild.
Up to now, 33,132 cases have been treated and isolated at home, and 19,867 of them have recovered.
Till date, 2,210,558 shots of vaccines against COVID-19 have been administered across the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 981,101 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 964,950 have got two and 264,507 have accessed three.
On Friday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 927 COVID-19 cases, of which 713 were found in the community and the 214 remaining ones logged during home-based quarantine.
