Da Nang sanitation workers sweep streets for clean, beautiful urban face during Tet
On Wednesday, February 2 (the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year), workers from Da Nang Urban Environment JSC and the Da Nang Green Park JSC rushed out to downtown streets and public places to conduct environmental cleanups and take care of urban trees in a bid to keep the city’s clean and beautiful urban face during the ongoing Tet break.
More than 40 local sanitation workers flocked to beaches to collect a large amount of plastic garbage washed ashore by sea waves in an attempt to ensure the landscape and environmental sanitation during the Tet holidays.
According to Chairman of the Board of Directors of Da Nang Urban Environment JSC Pham Thanh Phuc, on the 2nd and 3rd of the Lunar New Year, each affiliated unit of the company is assigning 20 - 30% of its workers and specialised vehicles to maintain the cleanups of streets, beaches, public places, amusement parks and flowers-covered streets in the city inner.
On Friday, February 4, the company will mobilise 100% of the human resources and vehicles for the collection of garbage and environmental cleanups in the city.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, workers from the Da Nang Green Park JSC took care of the existing urban trees and promptly handled any incidents to ensure the beautiful landscape of the city in service for the ongoing Tet break.
