Enthusiastic working atmosphere reported in Da Nang after Tet break

Many agencies, businesses and projects in Da Nang resumed their operations on Monday (the 7th day of the 1st lunar month of 2022), after the 9-day Tet break. Most of them have set targets for boosting more-realistic growth and increasing production efficiency since the beginning of the lunar new year. As observed, administrative discipline and COVID-19 prevention and control measures were strictly practiced at the aforementioned working sites.

Strictlly obey administrative discipline

The enthusiastic working ambiance is reported at the 'One-stop-shop' division of the Da Nang Administrative Centre on the 1st working day after Tet.

All cadres and civil servants here resumed the handling of administrative procedures for citizens in a prompt yet effective manner with a high sense of responsibility and dedicated attitude.

As reported at district and ward-level administration headquarters, their ‘One-stop-shop’ received dossiers, many of which were related to the registration for birth certificates, legal marriages and the notarizing of documents and papers.

Le Nhat Minh, a resident from Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District on Monday went to the district’s People's Committee for procedures for certifying civil status papers for his child to be handled and he received results on the same day by the staff on duty.

“I was guided enthusiastically and the staff on duty solved the paperwork quickly”, Mr. Minh said.

Promote production, create breakthroughs in economic development

On Monday, at the Hi-tech and the Information Technology (IT) parks in Da Nang, the bustling production atmosphere was recorded at the beginning of the year. Hundreds of engineers and workers resumed work with great eagerness and excitement. 

On the same day, the Da Nang Centralised IT Park-based SMT hi-tech electronics manufacturing and assembly factory (Trungnam EMS) under the Trung Nam Group released over 2,400 Da Nang-manufactured tablets to the market.

The IT Park Development Joint Stock Company (DITP), the IP Park’s developer, has completed the construction of four model villas in the housing area dedicated experts working at the Hi-tech Park, and made the debut of 60 5-star standard villas, along with the amenities of an ecological park, sports facilities and a club house.

In 2022, the Trungnam Group will be focused on implementing many large-scale projects in Da Nang to accompany the city in implementing its economic restoration goals.

This large group is also committed to pour a total capital of VND5,000 billion worth of investment into the city.

Also in 2022, DITP will realise the Data Centre project worth US$ 100 million meeting Tier 3 Plus standards in the centralised Da Nang IT Park, Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District, put into operation at least 2 electronic manufacturing factories and complete ready-built factories for lease according to international standards.

Besides, DITP will develop an R&D zone for technology research and development, contributing to turning Da Nang into one of the effective connection points in the national innovative startup ecosystem in accordance with the regulations in the development direction of the Politburo.

At March 29 Textile and Garment JSC, nearly 95% of workers out of the total 3,500 workers returned to the factory for work after the Tet break.

According to Mr. Huynh Van Chinh, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, the company sets a target of 10% growth for 2022 as compared to 2021 and kick off the building of more factories meeting green and environmental standards at Facility No.1 based in Thanh Khe District and the Nho Trung 2 Factory in Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province.

In the first quarter of 2022, the company will recruit about 400 more employees to ensure the handling progress of the signed orders.

In a similar vein, the Da Nang Rubber JSC, on February 4, the 4th of the 1st lunar month, made the first shipments of its products to the domestic market and to the international market on February 6. On February 8, 100% of the company's workers went back to work.

“In 2022, we will expand the scale of production activities to increase the capacity to 1 million radial tyres/year. The company is also proactive in ensuring the sourcing of raw materials to ensure production activities, even when the price fluctuates or the COVID-19 situation is complicated”, said Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, the company’s General Director.

During his visits to the Hi-tech and concentrated IT parks, Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh said that, 2022 will promise prosperity for the city. It will on track to overcome difficulties and challenges and soon complete key projects of the breakthrough nature, thereby making an important contribution to the socio-economic development goals. The city still has room for development with great potential.

The city is committed to actively create favourable conditions for investors for their effective operations.
