On the evening of February 21, Tri picked up a passenger on Tran Quoc Toan Street, Hai Chau District and dropped him off at a roadside restaurant. After that, he continued driving on the streets with new passengers.

On the morning of February 22, while he was cleaning the car to prepare for a new working day, he discovered that about VND 100 million had been unintentionally left by one of his passengers. In a prompt fashion, he brought it to the Phuoc Ninh Ward Police Station in a bid to find the right owner.

Through verifications, the police returned the above-mentioned money to its owner, Mr. Nguyen Phi Anh, a visitor from Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province. As shared by Mr Tri, he always wants to find the owner of any property left in his car to make return. He also hopes that all people and drivers do the same so that Da Nang people are always nice in the eyes of tourists.

“Anyone in my situation would do the same,” he confidently said. He has always kept in her mind that “clean fast is better than a dirty breakfast”.

For more than 20 years working as a truck and a grab driver, Tri has frequently returned the property left on his cab to passengers. More than two years ago, the man personally brought more than VND 1 billion to a bar to return it to his passenger who left the amount of money inside the car.

“Whoever loses valuables is also worried and sad. My passengers often leave their cell phones in my vehicle. Some mobile phones may not be of great value, but they contains many important data or photos so my passengers were excited and happy when receiving the property back. For me, that's more than enough," said Mr Tri.

The recipients were both very delighted to get their missing properties back. They thanked Tri, and praised him for their kindness and honesty.

Such an above-mentioned honesty resident with their good deeds is considered to be an enthusiastic and friendly ‘tourism ambassador’ in a bid to advertise Da Nang’s image to domestic and international friends.
