Da Nang documented 6,017 recoveries from COVID-19 in Da Nang on Wednesday, of which 5,848 were documented during home-based treatment and the remaining 169 ones were reported at healthcare facilities citywide.

Currently, a total of 2,015 patients infected with the coronavirus are receiving treatment at medical facilities citywide, of whom 290 are severely ill.

On the day, a total of 2,954 COVID-19 patients ended home isolation after having made full recovery from this highly contagious disease.

Currently, 52,561patients are under home-based treatment, of which 27,742 are asymptomatic and 24,819 are mild.

Up to now 70,747 patients have recovered from the highly contagious disease after their home-based treatment and isolation.

Till date, 2,434,755 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the city. Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 983,117 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 968,260 have got two and 483,378 have accessed three.

On Wednesday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 1,458 COVID-19 cases, of which 1,249 were acquired in the community.
