1,517 new COVID-19 cases, over 6,100 recoveries logged in Da Nang on Mar. 12
As reported by the Da Nang Steering Board of COVID-19 Prevention and Control, 6,132 COVID-19 patients across the city were announced recovered from this highly contagious pathogen on Saturday.
Of the recoveries, 5,976 were given the all-clear of the disease after their home-based treatment and the
remaining 156 ones were discharged from healthcare facilities citywide.
Currently, a total of 1,600 COVID-19 patients are being treated at medical facilities citywide, of whom 249 are severely ill.
Meanwhile, 48,118 patients are now under home-based treatment, of which 22,012 are asymptomatic and the remaining 24,852 ones are mild.
Up to now, 139,026 patients have recovered from COVID-19 after their home-based treatment and isolation.
Till date, 2.545.190 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the city.
Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 983.422 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 969,211have got two and 592,557 have accessed three.
On Saturday, Da Nang logged a further 1,517 COVID-19 cases, of which 1,356 were community transmissions.
