1,683 new COVID-19 cases, over 8,000 recoveries reported in Da Nang on Mar. 11
As reported by the Da Nang Steering Board of COVID-19 Prevention and Control, 8,088 COVID-19 patients across the city were announced recovered from this highly contagious pathogen on Friday, of whom 7,852 were given the all-clear of the disease after their home-based treatment and the remaining 228 ones were discharged from healthcare facilities citywide.
Currently, a total of 1,700 COVID-19 patients are under treatment at medical facilities citywide, of whom 255 are severely ill.
For the time being, 49,952 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 27,314 tare asymptomatic and 25,043care mild.
Up to now, 133,050 patients have recovered from COVID-19 after their home-based treatment and isolation.
Till date, 2.545,190 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the city.
Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 983,422 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 969,211have got two and 592,557 have accessed three.
On Friday, Da Nang confirmed a further 1,683 COVID-19 cases, of which 1,459 were community transmissions.
