1,905 new COVID-19 cases, around 7,500 recoveries reported in Da Nang on Mar.8
As reported by the Da Nang Steering Board of COVID-19 Prevention and Control, 7,471 COVID-19 patients across the city were announced recovered from this highly contagious pathogen on Tuesday, of whom 7,227 were given the all-clear of the disease after their home-based treatment and the remaining 244 ones were discharged from healthcare facilities citywide.
Currently, a total of 1,867 patients infected with the coronavirus are under treatment at medical facilities citywide, of whom 223 are severely ill.
For the time being, 55,351 patients are under home-based treatment, of which 28,949 are asymptomatic and 26,461 care mild.
Up to now, 111,39 patients have recovered from COVID-19 after their home-based treatment and isolation.
Till date, 2,531,696 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the city.
Of the vaccinated people throughout Da Nang, 983,320 have received one vaccine shot, whilst 968,567 have got two and 572,929 have accessed three.
On Sunday, Da Nang confirmed an additional 1,905 COVID-19 cases, of which 1,696 were community transmissions.
