On Monday morning, functional forces in Son Tra District, Da Nang, handed over the body of L.D.D, 20, hailing from Nam Truc District, Nam Dinh Province, to his family for home funeral.

It was reported that a group of five tourists went swimming at the Pham Van Dong Beach in Da Nang on Sunday evening. Several minutes later, they were swept away by strong waves.

Upon receiving the news, rescuers on duty at the beach and people nearby managed to rescue three women and one man.

Meanwhile, L.D.D. was not found. After hours of searching, rescuers found the body of the missing tourist drifted at the public bathing area No 1.

Immediately after, the functional forces handed over the body to the forensic agency, and informed his family.
