Accordingly, employees infected with COVID-19 declare and register online at the "Registration to receive a certificate of leave for social insurance" in the declaration form "Support for isolation and treatment of COVID-19" on the Danang SmartCity app.

The local medical station will receive the declaration information.

People can declare at the same time as the initial declaration of their infections for home-based treatment or re-declare their daily health status.

In case, the COVID-19 patient is an adult, just declare the name of your working place and your own social insurance or health insurance card numbers.  In case, the COVID-19 patient is a child, the declarant needs to declare the child's social insurance or health insurance card numbers, the parents’ full names, and the parents' working units (who will receive the insurance policy).

As for medical station staff, they receive registration information and issue relevant documents for COVID-19 patients on the software. They can handle procedures for many patients at the same time, instead of doing manually for each.

The medical staff then compile and print certificates of leave for social insurance benefits for COVID-19 patients, and make appointments via SMS or zalo with patients for the granting of these papers, along with certifications of completing home-treatment and isolation.

In addition, the medical staff put the data on managing and supporting COVID-19 patients and their close contacts during their home-based treatment into the Medical Insurance Assessment software of Vietnam Social Security (gdbhyt.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn).

The Department of Information and Communications has sent technical staff to guide the local medical stations via phone number 0935.751.573.
