The Office of the Investigation Police Agency and the Da Nang Department of Police prosecuted against Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, 30, a resident of Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District on the charge of ‘fraud and appropriation of property’.

According to investigation documents, Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang got acquainted with a woman residing in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province, in 2016. At the end of 2017, Trang and this woman agreed to jointly pour their money into stockpile air tickets for sale to individual and group passengers of the S.G in Da Nang. The two parties only made an oral agreement, instead of signing a contract. Specifically, at the beginning of each month, Trang reported the total amount of airfares ordered by customers for the woman.

From mid-2017 to the end of 2020, the woman repeatedly given money to Trang according to the capital contribution agreement. Trang gave her a small portion of the ticket sales as profits.

With the above-mentioned trick, Trang cheated the woman out of more than VND3.3 billion. When the woman wanted to get her contributed capital back, Trang cited many reasons to delay the money return.

Trang admitted that she had not signed any contract to provide air tickets with the S.G. and used illegally-appropriated money for personal spending.
