As observed on Sunday, thousands of veterans, women, Youth Union members, public officials and dwellers in residential areas/groups and villages across Da Nang simultaneously launched cleanups of the environment during which they got together to pick-up and dispose of litter along some streets, sidewalks, beaches and public places.
The worth-praising move was in an active response to the ‘Green-clean-beautiful Sunday’ movement serving the National Reunification Day (April 30) and the May Day (May 1).
