Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Construction Vo Tan Ha said that his agency is implementing the task of ensuring the beauty of trees and landscapes on major downtown streets.
Some routes are decorated with fresh flowers by the Park - Tree Company under the theme of ‘Festival colours’ to celebrate the forthcoming public holidays and contribute to refreshing the image of Da Nang tourism.
According to Director of Da Nang Park - Tree Company Nguyen Thi Quynh Diem, decorating streets with flowers and trees during the time when the weather turns to summer is a breakthrough in the task of ensuring urban beauty.
The company is trying to source fresh flowers from many regions nationwide to decorate ornamental plants and fresh flowers along the main streets.
Specifically, landscape at the sidewalks around the Da Nang Administrative Centre and along Bach Dang Street is being given a highly-inviting ‘coat’.
In particular, flowers and ornamental plants are arranged in the shape of cubes to create check-in points for visitors when coming to Da Nang.
Various kinds of fresh flowers and eye-catching leaves with radiant and bright colours such as primrose, yellow chrysanthemum, string of pearls, red statuettes, guava brooch, periwinkle, daisies and rose hips together makes the city’s image more attractive.
