As planned, existing overhead power and telecommunications cables will be put underground along such major streets as Tran Bach Dang, An Thuong 2, Hoang Ke Viem, and Ngo Thi Si.

Also along these streets, current drainage systems will be upgraded, whilst lamp posts combined with phone chargers will be replaced with aesthetic ones.

The upgrade work will include embellishing green spaces, installing surveillance cameras and public wifi transmitters, opening 2m-wide parking bays along the sidewalk in front of public land lots on Ngo Thi Si Street, and replacing block bricks along the pavement of Hoang Ke Viem Street with bazan stones.

The embellishment work is being carried by the Ngu Hanh Son District Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The intention of the embellishment work is to create new places and venues for the daytime and evening entertainment and shopping for Da Nang citizens and tourists.

Currently, the upgrade of some internal roads has been basically completed, and the road surface and sidewalks are made flat and wide.

The embellishment work at the An Thuong tourist quarter is underway.
