The Da Nang Department of Transport has just sent an official dispatch urging relevant local departments, agencies and sectors to proactively give suggestions to the organisation of the Green Traffic Festive Day, which is scheduled to be held in Da Nang on August 28, 2022.

Accordingly, with the goal of strengthening disseminations, raising awareness and responsibility of the community about green traffic with a focus on boosting environmental protection, limiting CO2 and other harmful emissions into the environment, save fuel, reduce traffic congestion and improve health,

At the same time, a movement to encourage people use bicycles for their mobility needs and strengthen the connection between urban areas by promoting the public bus system will be launched.

The municipal Department of Transport has developed specific plans to organize the Green Traffic Festive Day.

In order to implement the event effectively, the municipal Department of Transport proposed the participating agencies and units to give opinions and constructive recommendations to complete the plan as a basis for reporting to the municipal People's Committee for consideration and implementation.
