In mid-May 2022, over 200 workers of Huu Nghi Da Nang Joint Stock Company attentively paid attention to listening to reporters disseminating knowledge about taking care of reproductive and post-COVID-19 health care in a talk organized by the Trade Union of Hi-Tech Park and Da Nang Industrial Zones. This was highly appreciated by plenty of workers as health always plays a crucial role in the working process and daily life of employees.

According to the Chairman of the Trade Union of Hi-Tech Park and Da Nang Industrial Zones Nguyen Thanh Trung, Da Nang has six industrial and export processing zones with many young workers coming from different localities.

Over the past time, the Trade Union has increased the opening of many seminars to discuss and disseminate social issues such as the prevention of drugs, crime, and social evils; traffic safety; knowledge of health, and labour law.

In particular, in 2022, the Trade Union has paid attention to promoting propaganda on reproductive and post-Covid-19 health care.

As shared by Ms Do Thi Thanh Van, Head of the Women's Trade Union of Hi-Tech Park and Da Nang Industrial Zones, the Trade Union has given thoughtful attention to organizing seminars to give information, discuss and consult about different knowledge and skills, especially about health care for female union members and workers.

Ms N.T.N.C., a worker at Foster Electronics Company shared that she had encountered many reproductive health problems that made women wonder but were afraid to ask others.

Thanks to attending these practical seminars for workers, she had a better understanding of numerous health care issues.

Similarly, thanks to attending these seminars, Ms P.T.T.T., a worker of Pi Vina Da Nang Co., Ltd., knew what to do to overcome her persistent cough and insomnia after being infected with COVID-19.

According to Mr Nguyen Thanh Trung, seminars on health care for union members and workers also have a positive impact on employers in terms of awareness and action since taking care of employees' health is also ensuring that businesses always have a healthy workforce who works well and help to maintain productivity and efficiency.
