As announced by the Da Nang Department of Finance said that the city’s multi-purpose performance house located in Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hai Chau District will be dismantled and its equipment will be auctioned off.

Specifically, the starting price of multi-purpose performance house’s equipment is VND 50.8 billion.

The place to view soon-to-be auctioned assets is at 1 Phan Dang Luu, Hai Chau District. Registrations must be made before May 16 at https://daugia.danang.gov.vn/

The auction is slated to be held in the online form on https://daugia.danang.gov.vn/, starting at 10:00 a.m on May 19.

It is known that the multi-purpose performance house was put into use by the Da Nang People's Committee in 2009, but the operation was not effective.

In mid-June 2016, the municipal administration issued a decision approving the value of the multi-purpose performance house for sale to businesses.

However, the sale of a multi-purpose performance house which is a State property must be done by way of public auction in accordance with the provisions of the previous Law on Management and Use of State-owned Property and the current Law on Management and Use of Public Property.

Therefore, in mid-June 2019, the Da Nang Department of Construction proposed the municipal government to abolish the policy of selling multi-purpose performance house and documents related to the sale of this facility, and to assign relevant agencies, based on their competence and regulations in the Law on Management and Use of Public Property, to handle the issus in accordance with the law.
