'We sing' fundraising concert for cancer patients
WE CAN, a Da Nang non-profit organisation, on Sunday evening, organised a musical charity concert entitled ‘We sing’ to call for the community to provide spiritual and financial assistance for cancer patients and their relatives following the first success event in 2021.

With the message of ‘Incubating hope’, the programme give an opportunity for cancer patients to connect and exchange with each other, as well as help the community have positive thoughts and attitudes about this disease when listening to sharing and enjoying performances by ‘cancer warriors’.
During the concert, the audience immersed themselves in a deep, cozy and intimate music space under the performance of patients, doctors and nurses from the Oncology Department of the Da Nang General Hospital.
Also, the event featured some famous domestic singers such as Lan Nha and Vu Bao through songs namely ‘De Gio Cuon Di’ (Let the wind blow away) composed by musician Trinh Cong Son, ‘Trai Tim Nhan Ai’ (The Heart of Compassion) composed by musician Le Quang, ‘Khi Nguoi Lang Nghe’ (When you listen) by Le Cat Trong Ly, ‘Tu Day Toi Song’ (From Here I Live) and ‘Vi Chung Ta Chung Dong Mau Viet’ (For us sharing Vietnamese blood) by Vu Bao.

According to the concert’s General Director Nguyen Phuoc Vu Bao, the event brought smiles, sympathy, sharing and a lot of positive energy to cancer patients in particular and the social community in general.
All money raised in the concert will be contributed to the scholarship fund ‘Weaving dreams together with you’ dedicated for children of cancer patients aged from 12 to 18 who are living in very difficult circumstances.
According to WE CAN's founder Le Hoang Ngan, in 2021, under the support of the fund ‘Weaving dreams together with you’, 19 children from Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, etc. were awarded scholarships, valued at VND12 million/ academic year/ person.
“This year, WE CAN plans to increase the number of beneficiaries from the fund to a total of 30” added Ngan.
