The Da Nang Children Sponsor Fund under the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs has partnered with the Hoa Vang District chapter of the municipal Women's Union to provide means of livelihood and learning tools for 11 poor families with orphans.

Accordingly, each household has received piglets, and breeding chickens and cows, plus financial aid worth VND4-10 million VND. The total value of the in-kind and cash donations has been more than VND70 million.

Moreover, VND22 million has gone to purchase learning equipment and tools for 8 orphans living in difficult circumstances.

The total cost of the aforementioned means of livelihoods and learning tools has been nearly VND95 million, which has been funded by the Assemblies of God in Australia World Relief (AOGWR).

Previously, the Da Nang Children Sponsor Fund and the AIA Viet Nam Life Insurance Co.,Ltd. (AIA Viet Nam) had organised the ‘Journey of Life’ programme 2022.

The programme had aimed to assist and give strengths to school-aged children living in extremely difficult circumstances to continue with their academic dreams.

During the event, AIA Viet Nam had donated 70 bicycles, gifts and 5 free life insurance contracts, worth VND20 million each, to 75 disadvantaged and poor studious children with a total value of nearly VND230 million.
