2 fishermen in danger at sea rescued, provided with medical assistance

The Viet Nam Coastal Information System has connected with the 115 Da Nang Emergency Centre to timely provide first aid instructions for a fisherman onboard fishing boat QNg 94713 TS from the central coastal province of Quang Ngai. This man suffered a broken forearm and hand while the ship was operating at sea, 54 nautical miles from the Da Nang coast, on Tuesday.

Immediately after, rescuers onboard ship SAR 412 from the Da Nang-based Regional Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre No 2 (Da Nang MRCC) brought back the injured fishermen to the mainland for further care.

Previously, on the evening of July 4, medical assistance was provided for the captain of fishing vessel BD 98559 TS from the province of Binh Dinh due to his serious injury while operating at sea. The victim was shocked due to the loss of blood. Immediately after that, ship SAR 412 from Da Nang MRCC also arrived at the scene for rescue to bring the injured fisherman back to the shore.
