The Da Nang government has issued a decision on authorising the appraisal of environmental impact assessment reports; and the granting, the re-granting and the revoking of environmental licences for investment projects in high-tech, dedicated information technology and industrial parks in the city.

Accordingly, the Authority of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks is responsible for organising the appraisal of environmental impact assessment reports in tandem with granting, adjusting and revoking environmental licences for investment projects in high-tech, centralised information technology and industrial parks.

The authorisation for the Authority to appraise and approve environmental documents for investment projects in industrial parks in the city has received positive feedback from businesses, thereby contributing to promoting administrative reforms and 'one-stop shop' administration mechanism, and supporting investors to put their projects into operation soon.

Currently, the Authority is developing a plan to train new regulations on environmental protection for businesses in high-tech, centralised information technology and industrial parks.
