Da Nang beefs up vaccination against COVID-19 for local residents
The Da Nang Department of Health is on gear to implement a plan to vaccinate against COVID-19 for eligible people in line with the direction from the Ministry of Health and the Da Nang government.

Specifically, the local health care sector is administering 1st and 2nd doses of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for children aged 6 -11 and the 1st and 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine for children aged 12 or older.
Also, additional doses, 1st and 2nd boosters against COVID-19 will be provided for people aged 50 and above and those aged 18 years and older who are considered to be moderately or severely immunocompromised, and medical staff, police, workers at factories and enterprises.
The units in charge of vaccination will base on the quantity of received vaccines and the expiry date of the vaccines to administer vaccinations to the eligible subjects, ensuring that the vaccine is delivered to the target population with time and efficiency guaranteed.
Based on the actual situation, functional bodies will actively develop vaccination plans at large-scale vaccination points set up in the city, district-level health centres, commune/ ward health stations, mobile vaccination vehicles, schools and qualified vaccination points at health care facilities.
