Da Nang Border Guard High Command gives gifts to social policy beneficiaries

The Da Nang Border Guard High Command, on Wednesday, visited the care centre for those who gave great service in the national revolution, plus a number of social policy families, in the city in the build-up to the 75th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

On behalf of leaders of the Border Guard High Command, Col. Tran Cong Thanh, Commander of the municipal Border Guard, expressed his deep gratitude to revolution contributors for their sacrifices and losses to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

He wished that the elderly would live longer, healthier lives, and continue to be good examples for younger generations to follow.

Also on the occasion, the municipal Border Guard Command gave cash donations to support the construction of gratitude houses for families of martyrs and people with meritorious services in Son Tra District, as well as paid a visit to martyrs’ cemetery and cut hair for the elderly at the care centre for those who gave great service in the national revolution.
