Many officers from the Da Nang Traffic Police on Friday started their operation to detect and handle trucks that were enlarged with overloaded freight and other violations of traffic order and safety rules.

On the first day of the operation, traffic police officers at Hoa Hiep Gate pull over series of vehicles to check their load.

Right on the first day of the inspection operation, Hoa Hiep Gate Traffic Police Station of the Da Nang Traffic Police installed existing mobile weighbridge stations at the southern path of Hai Van Tunnel, Lien Chieu District.

An officer of the Hoa Hiep Gate Traffic Police Station has made a record of administrative violations committed by overloaded vehicles. At the same time, violating drivers also have to write a commitment not to carry overloaded goods.

At the load control point of the Traffic Police Team, Lien Chieu District Police, located on Nguyen Luong Bang Street this morning, it also detected and handled many cases of traffic safety violations such as transporting goods too high, expanding trucks’ body sizes.

In recent times, the travelling of overloaded dumper trucks carrying soil, stones, sand, and other construction materials was bad for the environment, and this could result in possible tragic traffic accidents. Hence, these issues have sparked deep concern amongst the general public.

Also, in order to ensure the traffic safety, these businesses are asked to make suitable adjustments to their truck schedules, their vehicles must carry loads within their limits, and they should not exceed the speed limits.
