CAAV has asked the Viet Nam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) to check daily flight plans of domestic airlines, and their schedules that provide an indication of arrival and departure times for next day flights will be required to submit to VATM at 10:00am every day.

Air traffic control centres in airports can refuse permission for landing and taking off of flights operated by domestic air carriers if their departure and arrival times do not match their published schedules.

The new regulation will come into force from August 1, 2022 and it will applied to flights from three Vietnamese major aiports, namely Da Nang, Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City and Noi Bai in Ha Noi while those from the remaining airports will be applied later when  CAAV’s announcement is made.
