On-street parking fees collected through MyParking app
Following recent instructions from the Da Nang administration, fees for parking vehicles along Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets, two of the largest streets in the Da Nang centre, will be collected through the MyParking application.
Available for both iOS and Android, the app is free to download from Google PlayStore and Apple Store. To use My Parking, download their app onto your Smartphone or register online at http://myparking.vn/.
In case vehicle owners fail to fulfill the financial obligation, they will be handled by the authorities according to regulations.
Fees ranging from VND 15,000 to 40,000/hour will be charged, depending on the vehicle type and parking time.
A car parking turn lasts a maximum of 60 minutes. The time of parking fee collection is from 6:00am to 10:00pm daily.
Specifically, the fee for parking cars with less than 16 seats and trucks under 2.5 tonnes is VND 15,000/vehicle/turn/hour No.1 and hour No.2; 20,000 VND/vehicle/turn/hour for the 3rd and 4rd hours; from the 5th hour onwards, it is 25,000 VND/vehicle/hour.
As for vehicles from 16 - 30 seats, trucks from 2.5 - 3.5 tonnes, the fee is priced at VND20,000/vehicle/turn/hour No. 1, hour No.2; VND25,000/vehicle/turn/hour for the 3rd and 4rd hours; From the 5th hour onwards, it is VND30,000/car/turn/hour.
Regarding those with over 30 seats and trucks over 3.5 tonnes, the fee is charged at VND30,000/vehicle/turn/hour No. 1, hour No.2; VND35,000/vehicle/turn/hour for the 3rd and 4rd hours; From the 5th hour onwards, it is VND40,000/car/turn/hour.
Vehicles exempted from toll collection, including fire engines, military vehicles, and police vehicles and ambulances on duty including other vehicles carrying victims to emergency places, vehicles on the mission of overcoming natural disasters, pandemics or on urgent tasks as prescribed by law; vehicles serving authorised community activities.
The My Parking app is used to search for available parking spaces in Da Nang and to pay for your parking quickly and easily. It is the car park app released by Viet Nam's military-run telecommunications company Viettel to help drivers rent out their free parking spaces along Bach Dang and Tran Phu streets, and pay for their parking over the phone.
