The Da Nang Youth Union has kicked off the peak day of “Volunteers actively involve in building new-style rural areas in 2022’ across the city with a series of meaningful activities highly hailed by the general public.

During the day, the participants focused on building up a landscape to protect the environment with such highly-practical activities as planting trees and flowers along the roadside, deploying the model of ‘Mural Road’ and ‘Youth Nursery’ and setting up clean and hygienic water supply facilities for those in difficult circumstances.

In addition, the Youth Union facilities were actively engaged in developing new-style rural infrastructure such as renewing, repairing and lighting rural roads; repairing and dredging the system of irrigation canals in the field; and upgrading toilets in schools and playgrounds for children.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Duan, Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Youth Union, Chairman of the municipal Youth Union said that the peak day of "Volunteers join hands to build new-style rural areas in 2022" is one of the outstanding activities of the ongoing summer volunteer campaign in 2022.

The aim was to promote the role of Youth Union members in building a new-style rural areas, spread meaningful activities towards welcoming Youth Union congresses at all levels.
