Over VND125 billion for riverbank erosion-prevention work

The Da Nang Authority has provided over VND125 billion in funding for implementing the emergency anti-erosion project on the banks of a section of the Yen River, located in Hoa Vang District, from the downstream of An Trach Weir - Yen River Bridge - Cam Le River.

The project aims to proactively mitigate floods and storms, respond to climate change, and limit damage caused by natural disasters, thereby contributing to protecting the environment, creating landscapes, improving residents' lives and protecting infrastructure in the area.

Developed and managed by the Management Board of Construction and Investment Projects for Agriculture and Rural Development Works, the project is carried out during the 2021-2024 period.

The project belongs to the category of agricultural and rural development works in group B, and the category of irrigation works at grade 4.

The total area of ​​land used for embankment construction will be 138,140m2. The useful life of the main work according to the design is 50 years.
