At the Dien Bien Phu Tunnel in Thanh Khe District, the team of the company’s workers operated the anti-flood pump to pump water out of the tunnel, checked the aquatic rafts and the environment, cleared the flows in the regulating reservoirs, and helped residents collect trash at residential areas, canals and lakes.

In addition, during this year's stormy season, the unit continues to review, clear, and clean up water inlets along the downtown roads under its management, especially in key locations where there is potential for flood such as Ha Huy Tap, Ham Nghi, Nguyen Van Linh, Hai Ho, and Nguyen Huu Tho.

Besides, the company will inspect and carefully review the status of the pumps at anti-flood pumping stations, and arrange personnel on duty to operate the stations around the clock.

In order to ensure stable operation of the Thuan Phuoc and Truong Chi Cuong anti-flooding pumping stations to cope with power outages that may occur before, during and after the upcoming storm, the company will rent 2 backup generators.

At the same time, importance will be attached to urgently lowering the water level in the regulation lakes, including March 29, and Thac Gian - Vinh Trung to the lowest ones, as well as operate penstocks of My An, Yen Khe Nos 1 and 2 and Ba Sen Vang Lake.

The company’s anti-flood pump operation team will prepare 4 mobile pumps, including two D24 pumps at the capacity of 300m3/h, and two pumps KDW2204 at the capacity of 350m3/h, to deal with flooding at low-lying residential areas.

The company is mobilising all human resources to inspect, clear, and clean the water inlets that are filled with fallen leaves; to carry out cleaning of garbage and sludge at the separators and discharge gates; to ensure environmental sanitation around the pump stations; to pick up trash from the canals, and to check damage to the drainage systems.
