Industrial parks urgently overcome aftermath of heavy rains
After recent heavy rains, some roads in Da Nang’s industrial parks (IPs) were flooded. As a result, many businesses had their production temporarily suspended to overcome the consequences.

As recorded in the Lien Chieu District-based Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, on Saturday morning, many roads in the industrial park were flooded with mud, especially roads Nos. 4 and 9, and a section of Road No. 2.
A representative of the Tan Long Packaging Paper Factory located on Road No. 10 in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park said floodwater level rose too high, so many paper materials in the factory were wet. On Saturday, the unit had to suspend its production to remove wet materials.
The Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks said that many factories and production workshops in industrial parks were inundated due to heavy rains. Businesses are doing their best to clean up after flooding. Some businesses suspend production to overcome flood aftermath.

Specifically, in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, the flood drainage canal of the Hoa Trung Lake, and the road surrounding the lake, suffered from severe landslides with total volume of displaced rock and soil reaching about 1,000m3.
In the Da Nang Industrial Park, the Sinaran and Scavi Hue companies were flooded with damaged materials. The wastewater treatment stations at the expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, and the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, stopped working due to flooding.
In the Lien Chieu Industrial Park, a number of factories and wastewater treatment stations were submerged under about 10 cm of water.
The Authority is urgently coordinating with the consulting units to estimate and report to the municipal People's Committee to promptly deal with the flood damage.
