Percentage of trained workers in Da Nang to be risen to 75% by 2025
The Da Nang government has issued a plan to implement the programme to support the development of the labour market until 2030.
Accordingly, the city strives to increase the proportion of trained workers to 75% by 2025 and 78% by 2030. Of this, the rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates will reach 61% by 2025, and 64% by 2030, whilst the rate of workers with information technology skills will reach 80% and 90% by 2025 and 2030 respectively.
Besides, the city will lower the general unemployment rate to no more than 3% by 2025 and continue to maintain it until 2030 (an average of 34,000 - 35,000 jobs are created per year).
The city targets to create new jobs for between 25,000 and 27,000 workers, and to reduce the proportion of young people without employment, education or training to less than 8%.
Additionally, urban youth unemployment rate will be maintained below 7%, whilst the percentage of underemployment in rural areas will be kept below 5%.
Moreover, the city will continue to create job transactions, develop modern and synchronous labor market information system and have the connection between information systems.
By 2025, 100% of senior high school graduates will be career-oriented, and the application of software; data connection, sharing and integration systems; and the standardization of the national database on labour will be completed.
The proportion of employees who are consulted and introduced jobs by employment service centres will reach over 40% by 2025 and more than 45% by 2030.
