Viet Nam Red Cross Society presents gifts to flood-affected people in Da Nang
On Wednesday morning, a delegation of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Red Cross Society, led by the Society’s President Bui Thi Hoa, visited and supported families affected by recent flooding in Hoa Nhon Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

The delegation visited and gave gifts to 5 flood-affected households in Thach Nham Tay and Phuoc Hung Nam villages. Each family was supported with VND1 million in cash and a box of household goods including blankets, clothes and household items.
The Viet Nam Red Cross Society presented 300 boxes of household goods and VND300 million in cash to some difficult families in Da Nang.

Mrs. Bui Thi Hoa said the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Red Cross Society has given in-kind and cash donations, totalling VND3.5 billion, for localities affected by recent storm, such as Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Da Nang.
On the occasion, the Da Nang Red Cross Society mobilised resources to support more than 2,000 gifts including cash, necessities and household items to help flood-affected people overcome their current difficulties.
