Starting from November 5, the Da Nang Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company and the district-level authorities will launch a campaign to dredge and clear sewers severely affected by recent heavy rains in the city.

Accordingly, the sewer cleaning and dredging operations will be conducted at 19 sections of roads and residential areas in 6 districts citywide. They will be Nui Thanh, Le Thanh Nghi, branch roads to Le Thanh Nghi Street, a residential area near the anti-flood pumping station on Truong Chi Cuong Street, the area surrounding the Thac Gian and Vinh Trung lakes, Ha Huy Tap Street and branch roads and alleys along Ha Huy Tap and Tran Cao Van streets, and residential groups Nos. 1, 2, 5, 6 in Thanh Khe Tay Ward, Thanh Khe District.

Sewer clearing will be conducted along Le Tan Trung Street and the Tho Quang – East Sea sewer line in Son Tra District, an open ditch adjacent to the Hoa Quy urban area and Binh Ky resettlement area, wastewater outlet C28 on Le Van Hien Street in Ngu Hanh Son District, entrance gates to the ​​Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, the end of Ba Xi canal, some residential areas in Lien Chieu District, Phong Bac canal, a residential area southeast of the Hoa Cam overpass, and Vo An Ninh and Vo Xa streets in Cam Le District.

The municipal People's Committee has assigned relevant departments, branches and units to direct investors and project operators to implement temporary drainage treatment at 10 projects. Included are the traffic infrastructure project at western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge, the sewer line from Nguyen Van Linh streets to Thac Gian and Vinh Trung lakes, Ba Bang Nhan, Dang Thai Than and Hai Trieu streets, Khe Can sewer line, drainage route from the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park to Cu De River, a section of Northwest axis No.1 route Axis 1 from Ho Tung Mau Street to Nguyen Luong Bang Street, and sewer lines from the Phong Bac 2 residential area to Cam Le River, between Vinh Trung and Tam Thuan wards, and in Xuan Ha Ward.
