Da Nang braces for more rains
Some scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the parts from Da Nang to Binh Thuan and Central Highlands on Thursday and Friday under the influence of the weakening cold high-pressure system, according to Viet Nam’s National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF).
NCHMF in its latest bulletin said moderate to heavy rainfall with isolated very heavy falls and thunderstorm chances are very likely over the Mid-central region, South Central Coast, and Central Highlands from November 19 - 23 due to the possible formation of a low-pressure trough and a tropical depression.
Strong winds, hail, and tornadoes are also dangers associated with some thunderstorms, national forecasters warn.
