The Vietnam Red Cross Society has worked with the Sun Life Viet Nam Insurance Company Ltd (Sun Life Viet Nam) to provide material assistance worth VND 850 million in total to people affected by storms and floods in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province.

Accordingly, between December 1, 2022 and January 30, 2023, 70 affected families in Da Nang and 80 others in Quang Nam Province will receive livelihood support valued at VND 5 million each while each of 10 other affected households in Da Nang will get material aid worth VND 10 million to repair their houses damaged by storms and floods.

The livelihood support program will provide these families with agricultural inputs for crop and livestock production while construction materials will be given to households to repair their damaged houses.

To mark this occasion, Sun Life Viet Nam presented in-ground outdoor basketball hoops and gifts to students of Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School in order to inspire physical activity to improve their health.
