Arts programme spreads love to residents on Tet

The ‘Tet Reunion - Spring of Love’ programme 2023 was officially opened in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District on Saturday morning with many exciting cultural, artistic and sports activities.

Held until January 8, the programme features a variety of cultural and artistic activities, including an arts talent contest, calligraphy writing, ‘banh chung’ wrapping, Ao dai performance, and an arts programme to welcome in Luản New Year of Cat 2023.

During the programme, the Hai Chau District authorities, and the district chapter of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee presented nearly 3,400 gifts, totalling VND2.3 billion, to social policy families and poor households in the locality.

The ‘Tet Reunion - Spring of Love’ programme is part of a series of activities hosted by the Hai Chau District authorities to welcome in the Lunar New Year in order to diversify cultural events and festivals along both sides of the Han River.

At the same time, it contributes to appealing for great support from agencies at all levels and businesses in organizing humanitarian activities for the community, thereby spreading love to each person and each family on the occasion of the coming Tet.
