On Monday, the Da Nang Department of Police awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Public Security to the Police Team of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue under the Lien Chieu District Division of Police and 8 individuals in recognition of their outstanding achievements in successfully organising rescue operations for young man in distress at Sung Co Beach in Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District at dawn on January 29.

On the occasion, authorised by the Minister of Public Security, the municipal Department of Police presented Certificates of Merit to its Advisory Division, the Son Tra District Police Division, and 3 individuals in honour of their outstanding achievements in mitigating, combating and overcoming the consequences of storm No. 4 in 2022 in the city.

In addition, one unit and three individuals received Certificates of Merit from municipal People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh for investigating, discovering and successfully arresting 5 property thieves at the Dien May Xanh store based in Lien Chieu District during a flood on October 14, 2022 in the city.

Also at the event, the Party Committee of the municipal Department of Police gave Certificates of Merit to 5 Party organisations for excellently completing typical tasks in 2022, and 11 Party members for excellently completing assigned tasks for 5 consecutive years (2018-2022).
