In order to perform well the assigned tasks, the Center for Urban Infrastructure Management has focused on developing a draft to collect comments from relevant units, and complete and issue the process of monitoring and managing the maintenance and care of urban trees in Da Nang.

Every year, the Center develops and issues a monitoring outline of urban tree maintenance as a basis for implementation.

In addition, the Center gets active involvement in guiding and giving suggestions to public utility service providers to develop and complete service delivery plans and measures, aiming at ensuring labour safety, traffic safety and environmental sanitation according to the signed contract and the law.

Director of the Center for Urban Infrastructure Management Tran Van Dung said that right after the process and outline were publicised, the Center assigns departments and supervisors to learn about detailed and specific information to ensure that the inspection and supervision process will be conducted with the right focus.

Head of Technical Office of the Da Nang Park - Tree Company Le Huy Hoang said that the monitoring process, especially the technical process, has made a difference in planting and caring for urban trees in the city. The roles and responsibilities of employees are clearly shown.

Accordingly, the staff deployed to supervise areas are responsible for inspecting and supervising the implementation of the work at the site, and recording construction daily logs.

They are also tasked with checking the observance of regulations on labour safety, traffic safety and environmental sanitation at each construction site.

Thus, the timely promulgation and strict application of the supervision process and outline for the field of trees, along with the supervision and management of urban green tree care and maintenance services, conducted by the Center for Urban Infrastructure Management, has made many clear changes in terms of quality and efficiency. This has improved the quality of green tree growth, and beatified the urban landscape of flower beds and lawn, thereby significantly contributing to creating better utilities of the city's urban green tree system.
