Hoa Lien Water Plant expected to be handed over in March
During his inspection visit to the Hoa Lien Water Plant in Hoa Vang District on Thursday morning, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang highlighted that the plant was one of the city’s key projects.

He said despite many difficulties, the construction of the plant was basically completed in September 2022. However, the plant has yet to be put into operation.
Mr. Quang, therefore, stressed the need for relevant agencies to put the plant into operation in accordance with the provisions of law in the coming time so as to satisfy urgent need for clean water of locals, especially in the upcoming summer season.
The city Party chief Quang suggested that the municipal People’s Committee’s Party Board should direct the Department of Construction to give approval for the acceptance of the project in March 2023. Also, relevant units were urged to make final settlement of the project this month.
“The Hoa Lien Water Plant project needs to be completed all procedures for acceptance, handover, management, exploitation and operation in March 2023. It must be put into operation to serve the lives of local residents no later than April 1, 2023" Secretary Quang emphasised.
Also on the same day, Secretary Quang made inspection visits to the construction site of the Western Ring Road No.2 project, a section of road from Road 8 in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park to the intersection with a bypass south of the Hai Van Pass.
The city leader urged construction units to make every effort to complete and put the projects into use on April 30, 2023.

Besides, Mr. Quang came to inspect and urge the construction progress of the the shared infrastructure part of the Lien Chieu Port.
According to Director of the Management Board of Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects Le Thanh Hung, from the commencement date of December 14, 2022 to January 30, 2023, the unit directed the consortium of construction contractors to carry out the preparations for the execution of the main work items, and prepare the site and materials for the construction work.
Since January 30, 2023, the consortium has implemented some auxiliary works including public service route D1, the embankments of the dredged mud dump D3, D4, a vehicle weighing station, and a material gathering yard.

The Management Board of Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects is continuing to direct the supervision consulting units and the consortium of contractors to focus on human resources, materials, machinery and equipment to accelerate the construction process, as well as ensure safety, quality and environmental sanitation.
The unit sets a target of completing at least 25% of the contract's construction and installation value in 2023, corresponding to the value of construction and installation volume of VND658 billion, disbursing 100% of the allocated capital for the project in 2023.
