Lao Airlines will resume direct flights between Vientiane Capital of Laos and Da Nang, Viet Nam, starting from March 30.

Accordingly, the Da Nang - Vientiane air route will see two flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays. Lao Airlines-operated flights will depart from the Wattay International Airport in Vientiane at 11:00 am and arrive in Da Nang at 12:15pm. Meanwhile, the return flights will take off from Da Nang International Airport at 1:00pm and land in Vientiane at 2:15pm.

In 2012, Lao Airlines opened flights to Da Nang on the Vientiane - Savannakhet - Pakse - Da Nang rote, but then the air route was suspended due to low passenger demand.

In 2020, Lao Airlines’ plan to reopen flights to Da Nang was canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. Currently, Lao Airlines is operating daily direct flights from Vientiane to Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
