Tourism goes hand in hand with volunteering
On Saturday, the Son Tra District chapter of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee, together with Viethouse Investment Trading Service Co., Ltd., Thinh Minh An Co., Ltd and other units to organize a gift giving programme exclusively for orphans and disadvantaged children in the district.

Within the framework of the programme, many activities took place such as a tourist cyclo parade, free haircut, giving gifts to orphans, disabled and disadvantaged children in Son Tra District.
Specifically, about 60 pupils wearing white ‘ao dai’ ( Vietnamese traditional costume) sat on tourist cyclos running along Bach Dang riverside route to the Dien Hai Citadel. After that, the members joined in giving gifts to disabled children and poor orphans in Son Tra District.
In addition to the gifts prepared by the event’s organisers, the participating pupils also presented souvenirs prepared by themselves to the disadvantaged children.

This activity was in an active response to Youth Month 2023 and Viet Nam ‘Ao dai’ Week, affirming the corporate spirit to always accompany the local government in social welfare work, encouraging pupils to uphold the spirit of helping others in difficult and unlucky circumstances.
