Visitors and means of traffic are being prohibited from travelling to the Son Tra Peninsula from April 24 to April 26.

The 2-day ban to ensure absolute human safety came after recent request made by the Da Nang Military Command. 

It is known that, during the travel ban, local military forces will use explosives to break up and clear massive boulders brought down onto the defence road leading to the Son Tra Peninsula by a major landslide.  

Also, fishing around the area near the peninsula is banned.

As requested, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches and other relevant agencies must publicise and deploy the aforementioned ban.
