The ‘French cultural imprints in Da Nang’ programme took place at the Museum of Da Nang, 24 Tran Phu, on Sunday, aiming at introducing to both locals and tourists the beauty of French culture still preserved in the city.
During the programme, visitors had the opportunity to discover the history of formation and development of the Tourane urban area (currently known as Da Nang) through the talkshow ‘Imprints of French architectures in Da Nang’ and a photo exhibition featuring some French architectural works in the city.
Besides, they enjoyed a number of popular French pastries and decorated baked cookies by themselves, as well as explored French culture and language at the Francophone corner.
In addition, visitors to the programme had a chance to experience and be aware of the similarities and differences between Vietnamese and French folk games.
The event aimed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Viet Nam - France diplomatic ties (April 12), and mark 10 years of strategic partnership between the two countries.
