The Da Nang Women's Union, the municipal Department of Police, the local People's Procuracy, the People's Court, the Department of Justice and the Lawyers’ Association have together signed a cooperation agreement on building Da Nang into a safe city free of violence against women and girls during the 2023-2026 period.

Accordingly, during the 4-year period, these organizations will effectively handle denunciations and information on crimes, and propose to prosecute cases of abuse against women and children.

The focus will be on widely publicising serious cases that cause anger in public opinion, as well as organising seminars and talk shows to share practical experience in implementing activities and fostering professional capacity improvement in the protection of women and children.

It is known that, between 2019 and 2022, the aforementioned units well fulfilled the signed contents and integrated them into their annual action programmes and plans.
