On Thursday, the Da Nang Border Guard High Command launched an emulation movement to ensure security and safety for the upcoming Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023.

Boats and canoes of the Da Nang Border Guard perform the task of ensuring security and order on the Han River during the fireworks festival.

As a unit assigned by the municipal government to protect the entire water surface area and guarantee security, order and safety on the Han River before, during and after DIFF 2023, the local Border Guard has been ready to mobilise forces and means to handle unexpected situations that may occur during the festival; participate in rescue operations; and promptly prevent people and vehicles from committing acts of disturbing security and order in the assigned area.

Besides, the city’s Border Guard has equipped and installed large capacity pumps to support the fire prevention and fighting forces.

Also, an emergency team including border guards and medical workers has been established to perform emergency duties, so that local residents and tourists can enjoy beautiful and safe fireworks displays.
