The Da Nang Youth Union, on Thursday, officially kicked off its Summer Volunteer Youth Campaign 2023.

Under the campaign, the unit will try its utmost to complete such targets as building at least 5 new houses of charity; repairing 12 houses for needy people; planting about 30,000 new trees; repairing and renewing at least 1,000m of rural roads; improving digital capacity for about 15,000 children and young people; supporting 5 creative start-up projects of young people; introducing job opportunities to at least 1,000 young people; deploying the programme on giving strength in the exam season at 28 exam sites; helping at least 3,000 children in difficult circumstances; admitting 1,500 new Youth Union members; and organising 20 free swimming and 60 free English classes for poor children.

To mark this occasion, the municipal Youth Union donated VND300 million to support the housing construction and repair for 10 poor families, handed over 25,000 trees for people in Hoa Vang District, and donated two libraries of children's books to Hoa Vang and Lien Chieu districts.
