Seventy-one out of the bikes were donated by the Prudential Viet Nam Assurance Private Limited whilst the remainder were sponsored by the Da Nang Red Cross Society.

These bicycles are distributed by quantity, including 20 bicycles for pupils in Thanh Khe District and 60 for those in the remaining 6 districts, each with 10 bikes. The gifts aimed to motivate them to study harder, regardless difficulties facing time in life.

Within the framework of this highly meaningful programme, there was also a bicycle parade through downtown streets, at the same time donating helmets to locals in a bid to raise public awareness about traffic safety.
