Heatwave continues to sweep over much of Central Viet Nam, rain likely

Viet Nam’s National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting predicted that mild to moderate heat wave may continue sweeping much of Central Viet Nam for a few more days.

According to the national weather service bulletin, mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Central Viet Nam and it may continue.

A localised heatwave is likely to engulf the the parts from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, including Da Nang. The minimum temperature in these areas today is likely to hover around 25 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature might reach 31 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Tuesday will hover around 33-35 degrees with a 55-60% chance of thunder showers in the afternoon over Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and South Central Coast.

Heat is continuing to bake Central Viet Nam on Wednesday with maximum and minimum temperatures settling at 33 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively. National forecasters are saying that there is a 55-60% chance of thundery rain in the afternoon across Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and South Central Coast. Temperatures as high as 35 to 37 degrees Celsius will blanket these areas.

Sunshine and sweltering temperatures are in the forecast for Central Viet Nam but no rainfall is likely on Thursday. Highs on Thursday will hover around 34 degrees, with lows right around 25 degrees.

There is likely no rain on Friday morning but high temperatures are expected to continue to scorch the central region. The minimum temperature on Friday morning may stay at 25 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is expected to hover around 34 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the central region is likely to receive little rainfall and experience rising temperatures on Friday afternoon with highs forecast to reach  35 to 37 degrees Celsius.
